Accessing a secure database

I have secured an Access database using the security
wizard. I need to secure another database. The second db
has link tables to the first one. I have tried many way,
and I cannot make it work. Please help.

This is what I have tried:
- Secure the 1st db with the security wizard
- I cannot run the security wizard and use the same
workgroup option (it is disabled) for the 2nd db
-Uset the workgroup for the 2nd db. The link between the 2
db are working, but the 2nd db is not secured
- Run the security wizard with 2 different workgroup,
both db are secured, but the link don't work.
- I am trying to do it using VBA and ADO, is it the only
solution, and if yes, can you help me.

I am using Access 2000 + ADO
