Accessing Access 97 & Access 2002 on same PC

We have instances where a user has to run several MS
Access applications. All of the installed applications (97
& 2002) are installed as Run-Time installations. Some of
the applications are MS Access 97 versions and the others
are MS Access 2002 versions. The issue arises when the
user opens a program developed in one version and then has
to open another application in the other version. An error
message is displayed indicating the Access version is not
recognized.

I would appreciate any solutions in regards to this
problem. Thank you.

The only way I know to handle this situation is to use a shortcut that points to
the correct version of Access and to the specific Access application file you
want to run.
