Accessing files from a hosting company?

OK, I may have gotten in way over my head here... I am
going to try to explain my situation and though it may
seem very elementary to programmers, I need some help. I
purchased "FrontPage for Dummies" and "FrontPage Bible"
and just can't grasp the concept???

I purchased software that is very malleable so that each
owner of a website can make their site unique. My
software/hosting company told me I would have to purchase
an HTML editor to modify my site... I have FrontPage...
never used it. The files/my site is published to the
net... I don't want the site installed on my computer if
it isn't neccessary. All I want to do is access the site
with FrontPage to be able to alter its appearance... I
have a basic understanding of HTML and feel I can stumble
my way through changing the appearance. My hosting
company told me they can fix any files I screw up :) Boy,
are they going to earn their money :D

Just want a basic step by step solution to accomplishing
this. What I interpret from the "Import Wizard" is that
it will capture the site and install it on my computer?
Could be I'm just not understanding the information in
the books... I'm sure this is simple for a programmer,
but this is my first time attempting this task.

Once again, all I want to do is access the files from my
hosting company and change them. I now have a basic
knowledge of editing w/FrontPage. When I can capture the
files, I might be able to accomplish something :) Thank
you for your time, expertise and consideration in this
matter. Feel free to email me with a response if the
reply feature of the forum is not working.

Have a safe and prosperous day!

No need to reply... figured it out... my biggest fault is
lack of patience... I just may get good at this someday :)

May you all be safe and prosperous :)
