A subsequent attempt to edit the file is permitted on open, however any attempt to save is met with the ubiquitous "Save not complete! File rename failed, Retry?" This is most frustrating insofar that the temporary (arcane named) files are saved on the server and can be openned/examined, which sometimes actually contain the edits, other times not. I've not yet fully divined the pattern occuring here. If we exit all office 2004 apps, shutdown the client, all temporary files are still locked on the server -- any attempt to trash the files and subsequently empty the trash on the server fails with a "The operation can not be completed because the {file name here} is in use." HAS ANYONE ALSO EXPERIENCED THIS PROBLEM with Tiger clients running Office 2004 and OS X Servers?? [/QUOTE]
