Two days ago, after 3 days of head-banging and half-an-hour on the
phone with Microsoft tech support, I finally got Outlook running with
Juno. Now, suddenly, it will send email but not receive (mail is left
in my Juno web inbox and never reaches my Outlook inbox.) I tried
deleting the old mail profile and creating a new one (which seemed to
take care of the receive-but-no-send problem I had before), and it
looked like I had the problem solved, but no such luck.
Account is Juno Platinum, OS is Windows XP Home Edition, Outlook
version is 2003. I have the incoming mail server as pop.juno.com and
outgoing server is smtp.juno.com. "My mail server requires
authentication" is checked. All settings pass the test, and the
Microsoft Test Message reaches my Juno inbox, but I cannot download it
(or any of my other Juno email) with Outlook.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
TIA,
