Accessing Last Published Date and Last Saved Date in Project Server 2007 DB

Instead of publishing ALL the projects every night, we wanted to find a way
of seeing if we could check the difference between the save and the last
publish dates of a project.

We looked into the option of checking the difference between the published
data and the working store data but could not find any PSI method that would
give us the difference. We have even looked for checking the last saved date
and the last published date, however there is a method in PSI that gives us
the last saved date but we could not locate method that gives us the last
published date.

We looked into the option of fetching the Last Published Date using PSI but
since it is a built in field, it is not listed in the Project Dataset. We
tried creating a formula custom field that would refer to the [Last
Published] field and access it via PSI call but while creating a formula
field PWA gives an error message as "Invalid Field".

I am wondering if anyone can help us with this or provide some advice on
this issue ?
