I use windows 2000 on a works computer can you tell me if
there is anyway to access a database? I cannot access the
microsoft access icon as the programs are limited for
obvious security reasons. Kathy cheers

You can use Microsoft Works to create or open/run a Works database; however,
while Works is a Microsoft product, it does not open Microsoft Access
databases. You must have Microsoft Access (either a full install or a
runtime) installed on your computer to open and run an Access database. If
Access security has been applied to the database you want to open, you must
be added to the workgroup for that database by the individual in your
organization responsible for setting up users and defining their
permissions.
