Accessing MS equation editor symbols programatically

Linny

Hi,
Is is possible to draw/display specific equation symbols from
Microsoft Equation editor, programatically ?
eg: Choosing a Summation or Integration symbol and displaying it on a
MS Word document?
If so how can it be done ?

I was able to invoke the Equation editor object but could not access
the symbols that it held. Please suggest.

No, the Equation Editor doesn't provide an interface you can
access programmatically. MS licences it from Design Science;
it's a simpler version of their MathType product. You might
check with Design Science whether they have a product that can
be automated.
