Hi,
We have the following SharePoint Services configuration:
* SharePoint Central Administration URL: http://SERVERNAME:13344
* Create a site under this SharePoint URL:
http://SERVERNAME:80/sites
SharePoint Extranet Address:
http://external ip address of the server
With this configuration, we can not reach the projects' workspaces,
documents, issues or risks. (page not found error) Because the links are
defined to be like http://SERVERNAME/site/blabla
where SERVERNAME should be replaced by external ip address of the server
that is already written in Sharepoint Extranet Address: field.
In * Create a site under this SharePoint URL: field, When we try to change
SERVERNAME with external ip address (that is http://<external_ip>:80/sites
and save the changes, we ge t an error message like :
Project Server can not connect to Sharepoint Services.
the url http://<external_ip>/sites/MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments
is verified to work. But it does not let it set with this url.
