Accessing public folder contacts in OL2003

D

Doug

We have a new Exchange 2003 server and have company
contacts listed in a public folder. We would like to be
able to access these contacts when sending mail. ie -
click "To:" and be able to choose contacts from the
contacts in the public folder on Exchange. We all have
Outlook 2003 as the client. I'm sure this is simple but
can't find the answer. I have googled and hit the MS KB
but am probably using terms that are too broad for the
search to turn up what I'm looking for.

Thanks for any help,

Doug

Right click the folder and choose properties. Click the Outlook Address Book
tab and choose "show this folder as an email address book".

Hi, Patricia -

I've been trying to do the same thing, but the option is grayed out. This is
the case with all six users. Have I mucked up permissions on the folder or
have I whacked the client? Outlook 2003 was installed identically from an
admin installation. One other item of note: I'm using Exchange 2003 in SBS
2003.

Thanks!
