Accessing Secured Database - getting "No Permissions" error

I have used the Access Security Wizard to set up a secured database for one
group of users. This is all fine and dandy, but unless I use the short-cut
created by Access (2000), I can't open the database (and neither can my
users!) I know I need to create a shortcut for all of the users and change
the target; however, when I click Start, Programs, Access and create a new
shortcut, the Target window is disabled! How do I create shortcuts for my
users with the correct security target, and I have distance users that are
going to have to do this for themselves. Please help! TIA for any
suggestions.

You can just open Windows Explorer, go to the desktop and copy your
'shortcut file' to your users (this assumes that the path to msaccess.exe is
the same on their computers - likely but...).

Alternatively, you can right-click on the desktop, choose new shortcut, and
type in the following
"path to msaccess.exe" "path to mdb" /wrkgrp "path to mdw"
