Accessing Shared Contacts in E-mail Dropdown

I am experiencing problems being able to access Shared Contacts in the e-mail
dropdown list of Outlook.

Here is the issue. The Owner of the company has different groupings of
contacts i.e. clients, vendors, etc which he has shared with the rest of the
employees. Each one of us can access and edit the shared contact list.
However when going ot creat an e-mail to one of these "shared" contacts the
list is not available in the e-mail drop down list.

Is there any way to have shred contacts availble in the e-mail drop down list?
