Accessing Tasks crashes Project Web Access

I have one user's laptop that has this problem. When using Web Access
clicking on the Task tab gets this error:

Internet explorer has encountered a problem with an add-on and needs to close.

Details refer that it was using pjgrid11.ocx at the time.

This user doesn't have google toolbar.
I have configured IE to permit downloading of Active X controls
I have logged onto local computer as Administrator - PWA still has same
problem
I have manually registered ActiveX controls per Microsoft support article ID
818046

Any other suggestions?

A Microsoft Engineer helped find the solution. Problem solved. Resolution
found below:

ACTION - Clicking on the Links in the Project Web Access.

RESULT - It crashes the Internet Explorer while trying to run the
pjgrid11.ocx file.

CAUSE - Browser is not able to parse the grids for the XML views. Either the
XML parser component (msxml.dll) is corrupt or out of date.

RESOLUTION - We installed the latest version of msxml.dll by downloading the
msxml 4.0 service pack 2 and it updated the parser.

For more information on the MSXML 4.0 component, you may view the Software
Development Kit (SDK) for MSXML by downloading it. Also, you can visit the
article http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;321357 for
other possible reasons of a failed grid control on the Project Server 2003.

I tried updating MSXML and I am still recieving the error. I have updated to
Project SP2 as MS stated that it resolved this issue. Suprise suprise it
didnt. If you know of anything else please let me know as I for one and
almost to my limit with Project and ready to move to another product. I am
wasting to much time in trying to get it working...
