Accessing the cube...

when i try to view resources in Portfolio analyser it givs me an error that
the cube doesn't exist or I don't have permission(which i should). How do i
start the cube for usage with Project server?

Is there any chance of posting eventlogs for this?
I have had a little experience with this, but it may not be relevant. So,
how are you specifying the SQL db ? is it dbserver,1433? If it is, then
sharepoint understands this but SQL-AS does not. If you type cliconfg at the
run command on the PS and use an alias, it gets around this.

Without more info it is hard to tell what your issue is. So this is a stab
in the dark. Have you set up users with access in SQL-AS??
