We would like to access the email at a new Windows Live email address in
Outlook 2007. So far this has not been a problem. We access all our
Comcast accounts (POP3), Hotmail accounts (HTTP), and MSN accounts (HTTP)
from within Outlook without any problem. We can also send messages from
Outlook through all our HTTP accounts. But this new email, which has uses
the @live.com domain, does not seem to work.
We set up an Outlook account for it, hoping that @live.com was an HTTP type
account, and it seems to connect without any errors (at least it's not
kicked offline). However, we cannot see any mail in the Outlook Inbox for
this account. Yet, there are several emails in the inbox when we use the
web browser to access the email, so we know there are some.
We have never had to use the MSN connector before and would rather not due
to bad experiences in the past.
Any suggestions on why we cannot configure this Windows Live email account
in Outlook? Thank you for any suggestions.
