Accesss 2002 ToolBar Missing

K

Ken \(Again\)

I am running Access 2002. This may be more of an "Office"
general question, but here goes. While I was away from
the office, someone got on my PC at the office and now
when I go into my MS Access, I have no Menu bar at the
top, like "File,Edit,View, etc." There is no menu bar for
me to click on, so I open the database by clicking on it
manually. It opens the database and still no menu bar.
If I make changes to a query, I can't save the query, I
just have to click the X on MS Access, it closes the
database, saves my changes and then I go reopen it again.
I know this sounds nutty, but I don't know what to do to
get the "Main" menu back in Access.

Please Help.

Try holding down the {SHIFT} key and click your shortcut or Access
file's icon--keep the {SHIFT} key held down until the database fully
opens. Looks like somebody has changed all the menu settings.
Nonetheless, this should get you headed in the right direction.

Good luck!
