Accidently deleted a folder but it isn't in "deleted" -- can it be restored?

I thought I was deleting a document in an important folder, but it turned
out I accidently deleted the folder instead. I looked in "Deleted", but it
isn't there. Is there some way to restore this folder?

Do you use Exchange?
Was this folder in a PST file?

Glad you found it. When you delete a folder it will
go under the deleted items folder. If you clean out
your deleted items folder when there is a folder in
it, it will be deleted too.

No. But I found it in Delete when using the "+", oddly enough. (I just
clicked on delete before and checked the items in there, expecting to find
the folder.
