On a new machine I have installed office 2003 and am trying to set up my
email accounts in Outlook. I have copied the information directly from
Outlook 2003 which I have been using on my laptop succesfully for the last
year but even though i have checked all the information again and again when
I attempt to test the account settings I get the following messages:
Send test email and log on to incoming mail server: "The specified server
was found but there was no response from the server. Verify that the port and
SSL information is correct"
Find Incoming (& Outgoing) mail server: "Outlook could not connect to
incoming (Outgoing) mail server. The problem could be the server name or port
or your server may not support SSL. Verify your port and SSL settings"
All the settings are exactly the same as on my Laptop which is accessing my
email perfectly.
