Account missing in resource list

I created an account through PWA 2003 for windows authentication. The end user Tim can save projects to the server and assign resources just fine. Tim's name however is not in the list of resources that can be assigned.
I can modify and administer his account through pwa but he is not in the list of resources. When i open the enterprise resources in project 2003 his name is not present.
Why would this be happening?
Any help would be appreciated.

You should have created Tim as a resource in the Enterprise Resource Pool
first. If you had done so, the system would have automatically created a
user account for him in PWA. Now you must add Tim to the Enterprise
Resource Pool, then double-click his name and make sure his Windows User
account exactly matches the one specified in his user account in PWA. Hope
this helps.
