I moved Outlook 2002 from XP to Vista. When I set up the account, I entered
the password and checked the box to save it. However, each time I start up
Outlook, I get a failed logon message. I check the account and the password
is missing.
I re-enter the password, mark the box to save it again, and the processes is
repeated the next time I start up Outlook.
Everything else seems to work fine. I even managed to keep my contacts and
messages. I used the program that Vista provides on the install disk for
transferring data. Maybe that program messed around with the account while
doing that.
Thanks for any suggestions
