Bill Weylock
Netgear Wireless network, small office 6 stations.
All stations exhibit same infuriating behavior.
Server disconnection error messages (very general, suggesting maybe a
time-out or a ³system problem²) whenever trying to get email or send.
All account settings are correct. We have triple checked. Same results in
Outlook, OE, Thunderbird, and Eudora.
We can surf the web with no problem.
I brought my own PC notebook in, and it had the same problem when using
their wireless network.
We bought a new router. Same results.
What is there left to try? I¹ve considered shooting myself, but that seems
unlikely to address the core problem.
Please??
Oh. We disabled Norton and disabled XP firewall. No difference.
Systems running XP pro with critical updates current.
TIA.
Best,
- Bill
