My company was moving from NT to XP OS and from A97 to
A02. I was stradling both for a time and discovered that
when in an XP operating system and using Access 97, you
cannot do many design functions. The error is coming from
XP and our folks say select Don't Send. There are a number
of stupid oddities. You need to upgrade from 97. Until I
had A02 on XP I had to go back to NT to do work in A97.

P.S. I am not a programmer, just a user that does
programming. Hope this helps.
