I have customize a toolbar menu for my access database file on my computer.
I want to revert back to the access default and/or full menu toolbars. When I
go to another computer and load up my backup file the full toolbar menus are
there. But I can not get the full toolbars on my computer. How can I get the
main default toolbars back? I have tried opening the access database in the
exclusive mode but no luck. Can anybody help me!!!

Look under startup functions and check the checkboxes under the various
menubar options. One of them is to allow the standard toolbars.

GJ,

When you start your database, hold down the shift key to bypass your
customization. Then in the menu at the top of the screen, go to Tools -
Startup. In the dialog that appears, uncheck the specified startup menu at
the top left to be able to go back to the default menu. If you have any
custom menus that appear when a form opens, you ill need to open those forms
in design view, go to properties, go to the Other tab and delete what you
set for the menubar property.
