I just installed Office 2000 (Windows XP) and I'm tyring to read some help
topics in the Access VB Editor Help. I search for help topics on a keyword
on the Index tab, but when I click on a topic in the results window,
typically the topic fails to display in the help text window. I tried
reinstalling the help files for Office 2000 Visual Basic using the Add/Remove
Programs Control Panel, but that didn't help.
For example, I searched the keyword "recordset". When the topics list comes
up, the help text window does not change and still refuses to change even
when, as one example, I select the "Delete Method (ADO Recordset)".
Occasionally a selected topic will display help text, e.g., selecting "Find
Method" displays the appropriate topic. But the topics that display properly
are pretty rare.
What can I do to get Help to work properly?
