acess 2002 to 2003

Hi,

We currently run a sql database with a ms access 2002 front end to input
documents into our system, we currently hve around 20 pc's running Office XP
but have just taken delivery of 2 new pc's with office 2003, will this
present a problem? Do all our access clients need to be the same version?

I am advising that we move to open licensing and keep everyone on 2002 for
reliablily and and a standard environment but the company is querying the
higher costs. Thanks for any help or advice you may be able to offer.

Steve.

I concur with your advice. Stick with 2002. 2003 users will encounter a
variety of issues.

My experiences with moving between previous versions of Access always
involved a certain amount of patience, just the thought of moving our
previous databases from 2000 to 2002 is enough to scare me for a while. I
would recommend attempting this in a test environment if you have time
time!!
