XPSP2 machine fully patched. SBS 2003 SP1 network. Administrative install of
Office 2003 patched to SP2 installed via group policy using assign. Roaming
profiles used ion teh network
Also on teh XP machine Access 2002 runtime and Access97, both requred for
particular reasons (well OK the 2002 probably not REQUIRED) but convenient.
When you attempt to start A2003 get the normal install infomative message
boxes, but Access doesn;t actually start. The event log seems clean and task
manager shows no MSaccess tasks running. Other users on that machine have the
same problem. The problem does not appear on other machines on the network
(although few of them have three version siof Access on)
The only thing I can thik of doing is uninstalling Offie and previous
version so faccess then reinstalling in order of release.
Anyone giot any better ideas?
