Acess97: OutputTo's Template

I am trying to output a query to an Excel spreadsheet. I would like to have
hints on the headers so as to clue the user in to what acceptable input there
is on each field.

I am using OutputTo, and it seems to have a template option. I've created my
template, added the hint, and used this as the template option in my OutputTo.
When I click on my button, save the resulting file, and check it in Excel the
hint is gone.

What exactly is the use of the template option on OutputTo? How can I output
Excel spreadsheets with hints on the column headers/cells?

Any info would be greatly appreciated,
