Acquire Text

Can anyone help - I am using Word 2007 and I cannot find how to 'Acquire text'

I Had this problem and eventually after going through the manual i discovere
you do the following
You open Word
You open Omnipage at the same time
click on options tab in Tools then clcick on
DIRECT OCR make sure that WORD is listed and then tick enable DIRECT OCR Box
Next time you open Word this facility will be there. If you want to remove i
UNTICK the direct OCR box
