Acquiring Images in Office - getting error messages

I'v updated my pc from me to xp pro & office xp pro. I
have an hp officejet k80. Ever since the update I can't
scan pictures in from my officejet. The program (word,
popwerpoint, etc) tries to "aquire" the image but then
the program shuts down. I've updated my printer drivers
from hp and have tried using the "custom scan" option but
I still can't scan into a document. Any suggestions???

We had this issue with one of our HP machines, even with updated drivers. We had to do a forced uninstall with a utility for our model from HP, then re-install to get it to work correctly. You should be able to find one for your printer on their site, or contact HP support. This suggestion may help you.
