Acrobat PDF Maker - Word 2000

When I try to convert a Word 2000 document to an Adobe .pdf document for
emailing, it "hangs" about half way through the initial conversion
("printing") and the Word progrram stops responding. Any ideas how to
correct this problem, or what I should look for? (I did check the "printers"
available and did NOT see anything that looked like it was a .pdf writer.)

What software package are you using to convert Word 2000 to PDF?
There are a number of free software packages available that will
conert anything to a pdf docment by downloading the software and
printing to the package. CutePDF.com works for me.

It's been so long since either Word or Adobe were installed, I don't even
recall if the conversion ability was part of Word or was installed with some
version of Adobe. I'll check out CutePDF. thanks.
