Hi,
I have a user who logs on to his machine in Domain X. Project Server is
run in Domain Y. He opens a VPN connection to Domain Y and tries to
connect through Project Client. He keeps on getting the error saying
"You are not authorized to see this page. HTTP Error 401.2
Unauthorized: Access is denied due to server configuration in IIS".
I checked his IE settings and the link is present in trusted sites. The
access is allowed for across the domains and authentication is set to
automatically logon with current username and password for trusted
sites.
I was hoping that due to the VPN connection to domain Y the access will
not be a problem.
My question is does Domain Y need to trust Domain X in order for users
to connect via Project Client (even when they do VPN to domain Y).
This user is using windows authentication and is able to access PWA
successfully from this same machine while using the VPN.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Sadia.
