I'm hoping there are some smarter folks than I:
I installed BCM2007 and tried to do a data conversion of my ACT 7.0
database. All I can get is the error "The specified file is not a valid
database for the currently installed version of ACT (7). If the file is a
database from a prior ACT version, it can be upgraded by opening the
database in ACT." It does this after asking my user name for the db which
it apparently verifies so it does recognize the db on some level.
There is no question that the ACT db is a valid database and that it works
as I use it every day. It is also updated to the most recent update which I
think was 7.0.4.
Importing a CSV file is not an option because I can't export any of my notes
from ACT.
Does anyone have any idea how to proceed from here? Moving my entire office
to Office 2007 is obviously a non-starter if I can't migrate my business
contacts.
Thanks!
