ACT sees Outlook 2002 as a pre 1998 version

I am trying to install ACT 6.0 and want to nominate
Outlook as my e-mail programme. Whenever I try to do
this ACT tells me it won't work with a version of Outlook
earlier than 1998 and I need to upgrade. I have Outlook
2002 installed so there must be an error somewhere! Can
anyone help? ACT say that this is an Outlook problem
(unsurprisingly)

Is this the latest version of ACT? It's probably saying it because it can't
find the version of mapi32.dll it wants to use.
