action button function

Hi. My powerpoint presentation is not recognizing action buttons
properly. When I run the slideshow, clicking anywhere on the screen
results in advancing to the next slide. I would like for the action
button to be the only place on the screen that will advance when
clicked. Any help is appreciated.

What happens when you click on the action button? Does that just advance to
the next screen, or does it do what it is supposed to? If the action button
works, then you can put the presenation in Kiosk mode. Go to the Slide Show
menu and choose Set Up Show, and click on Browsed at a Kiosk.
