action openreport annulated

On one PC (of a total of eleven PC's in the network), and with microsoft
Access 2003 (re-)installed, it is not possible to create reports. If I open
an existing database on this PC and try to open a report, the answer is:
'action openreport annulated'. Can anyone help? A printer is installed and
tools/references is ok.

You state a printer is installed but that doesn't mean it is the default
printer and Access can identify its appropriate properties/functionality.
Make sure it is the default as designated in the Windows Control Panel. Also,
the drivers should be up to date.

You were right. There was a default printer installed: a copier. By changing
the default printer to a laser printer, there is no more problem.
