I'm trying to follow the Visual Studio 2005 documentation to add an Action
Pane Control. I'm not seeing this item/template listed under the Project|Add
New Item dialog.
I have the latest Visual Studio 2005 Pro, VSTO 2005 SE and all service
packs. These were a clean install on a clean Windows XP Pro laptop, and there
were no betas of anything installed previously. Any suggestions?
I see 30+ templates listed under a VB or C# project, just not anything
called "Action Pane Control". I googled this and someone suggested that the
User Control templates can be used if the action pane template is missing.
Were they correct or is the Visual Studio documentaiton out dated?
I would really like for my Visual Studio to work as advertised in the
documentation If anyone has a suggestion that doesn't involve formatting
my hard drive and reinstalling the world, it would be much appreciated!
