I'm switching from Visio 2000 to 2003. I am working on an ERD in which I've
been using the "Child has parent: Optional" attribute in the Database
Properties.Miscellaneous category to allow zero or reverse references (in
crow's foot notation a "|O" on the parent end of the relationship.
The checkbox is inactive (grayed out), but the setting is as inherited from
the drawing I imported. I also note the Cardinality checkbox in the Database
Document Options Relationship tab in inactive. I think there was a connection
between these two, but honestly am not sure what I set up in the old version
to get the behavior I wanted.
