Activating addin from another program

Hello,
We wrote an addin for outlook and it works great. I would like to try to
activate thid addin running in Outlook from an external program running from
the taskbar.

Is there a simple way to do this ?

What about the ComandLineSafe flag in the Outlook Addin does this allow for
such a procedure?

I would put this in the addin itself ?

This looks like vb code, do you have a c++ equvilant ?

No, the code would go in an external program, which is what you asked for.
You of course would have to know the name of the addin and would have to get
an Outlook Application object.

I don't do C++, the example was VB/VBA.
