Activating full version of MO

When I purchased my computer, it came with Microsoft Office 2007 already
installed and not activated. I unlocked the 60 day trial version of the
software, and this time has now expired. It now prompts me for the Product
Key, which I did not receive with my computer so I used:

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer.html

which told me the key for my software. I proceeded to enter this key in
through the "Convert" pop up that comes up when I open Word. The key is
accepted, and it proceeds to tell me to close and restart all Microsoft
Office applications. I only have Word open, so I close that and re-open it.
Once I re-open it, I am presented with the same "Convert" pop up wizard and
not the activation wizard I should be expecting? I am using Windows Vista.

Any assistance to what I am doing wrong is greatly appreciated.

You have buy the product key to convert your trial to a full version.
IMO however you would be better off buying the Office cd direct from
amazon.com or similar, then uninstalling the trial prior to installing from
cd. You would need to ensure you purchased the correct Office 2007 for your
needs, and an upgrade is no good if you only have the trial product
