activating microsoft word

Help.

I need to have microsoft word on my home computer, so I
purchased microsoft works suite 2002 for my home computer.
However that computer crashed. How do I find the
registration number to activate microsoft word on the
new replacement computer I bought? It is a compaq
presario and appears to have word present, and the old
computer was registered with microsoft, but I can't get
through to them to find my registration number.

The CD Key for Word in the Works CD is usually on the sticker on the main
disk packaging.

If you just need to reactivate Word on your new PC and can not activate over
the internet then select the telephone method.
