Activating Office 2007

I just bought a new PC. Office 2007 Pro was installed with a free trial
period. Every time I run an Office 2007 application it prompts me for a
serial number. I own office 2003 Pro but it exists on my old PC. What do I
need to do to buy an upgrade and just enter the serial number into the trial
version of Office 2007 Pro? I am concerned that if I buy an upgrade it will
not validate properly because it will not find Office 2003 installed.

Any help?
