When I try to activate outlook 2002 (upgraded from 97 on a
win98 laptop) I get an error saying it cannot connect the
the internet. When I 'test account settings' in the email
setup I get an error: "Establish network connection:
Unable to connect the the internet or to the network.
Please verify the connection settings. To access the
connection settings close this dialog, click more settings
then click on the connections tab." connections is set
to 'connect via lan' the internet and lan work fine on
this machine, email is working fine. But I can't activate
outlook over the lan. Any ideas? I have 42 more times to
run outlook. and yes I can try to do this over the phone
but somethings wrong with the setup and I'd like to know
its working
thanks,
