Activating Product

I legitimately purchased the product and have the original CD case with
hologram and product code.

It says that it is an invalid code.

What are my options.

Please advise.

It's a OneNote CD and Product key? Or is it an Office key? OneNote, while
part of the Office family of products, is sold as a separate product and is
not bundled with Office. As such, an Office key will not work for OneNote
and vice versa.

It is clearly a OneNote CD. It has "Toshiba" and then "Microsoft Office
OneNote 2003" on a printed hologram .

There serial number is on the lower portion of the label with multiple bar
codes.

Another item: I have the SP1 update, but I am unable to click and drag the
folder tabs to change positions.

I love the package.

Another possibility -- check the serial number very carefully to make sure
you typed it correctly. Sometimes typos happen and also the Bs and 8s
sometimes look alike.

It was 5 sets of 5 letters/numbers right?

WRT to drag and drop of folder/section tabs: SP1 doesn't support this

I had the same problem using a hologram CD to activate a downloaded OneNote
app . . . . Got an error message saying the product key was already
activated.

Had to completely uninstall OneNote from the Add Remove Software control
panel, reboot, then re-install from the CD.

My OneNote folders, sections, and preferences persisted through the
uninstall and re-install.
