activation code

I am in Kuwait and my disc for Office is in the states. I had to crash my
computer and reboot. Even though I saved Office on my external hard drive,
it is still asking me for the activation code. Is there any way to locate it
within the program itself?

No, it's on the disks. Call home.

Only if your installation exists on your bootable win installation, and not
if you restored or created a new Win installation.
The key is in any case not within the disk, but on a sticker on the case, or
within an email if you obtained it via Digital River
Belarc Advisor will give the key, or MagicJelly Bean, on the origonal
win/office installation
