activation ( I think)

I have Word 2007 successfully installed but not functioning properly
everywhere I look or when I try to activate suggests I go to
Microsoft Office Button, click "Program Name" Options, click Resources, and
click Activate.

If i go to the programme menu and select activation wizard it just opens a
blank page in Word!!

Bit when i click on the button it will not allow me to select anything.
In word I can type and format but not highlight or use the scroll button

Any ideas?

Click on the Office button The Pizza in the top left corner) and press
options, select Resources and click on Activate Microsoft Office 2007 (or
Alt+F,I,R, Alt+A).

Thanks but when I do this I can select 'word optoins' but it will not allow
me to select anything else!

Then it sounds like it is a trial version of Word that has time expired. Are
you able to open a document and do anything other than view it?
