Activation info from Microsoft - a tale of frustration

Ok, my wife purchased Office (home &student) online probably 6 months ago.
It is all activated ok.. I buy laptop and need to install Office (i
understand you can install on up to 3 domestic machines) We can't find
activation code.....Brilliant!
---------NO I don't want any pirate activation codes!!!--------
How can i request this from Microsoft to activate on my new machine?
Is there a code i can retrieve from Office that will verify it is
authentically purchased product?
How do I contact MS? can't see anyway to get through to them..no customer
service portal ...
Any help would be appreciated

Both MagicJelly Bean & Belarc Advisor will reveal the code (On the existing
installation)
