Activation key entered, but still the activation wizard popping up

Hey.. I entered my Trial activation key 'n' number of times... but still the
TRIAL ACTIVATION wizard keeps popping up... it does not activate my trial
office. I bought an HP laptop with which came the MS Office setup... the key
is valid... it even installs the office... but nothing afterwards...just read
only apps...
wat do i do?
