Activation of Office 2003 for Vista

I have just upgraded to Windows Vista Home Premium. When I run Outlook I am
asked to activate Office 2003. When I choose to do so I get a window telling
me it is unable to find an internet connection.

My internet connection is a cable modem and is working fine. I even tried
loading IE first, but that didn't help.

Can someone help me out?
