Activation of Product

To Whom:

I am having a problem with reduced functionality mode on
all my MS Office products. They will not allow me to use
them until I "renew my license". I have talked to
Microsoft about this problem before, and I thought it was
resolved....long story. I am running Win. XP
Professional, and the Office package is XP STANDARD FOR
STUDENTS AND TEACHERS. All I want to do is REACTIVATE my
product, I have the software, and it is registered to me,
but I cannot activate it, even if I reinstall it. The
activation wizard does not work, please help!

Thank you, T. Philips, Houston

GREG,

I WOULD CALL THAT NUMBER, BUT I HAVE TO HAVE MY ACTIVATION
WIZARD OPEN TO USE THE SERVICE, I CANNOT LOCATE THE
ACTIVATION WIZARD, AND/OR IT WILL NOT TURN ON. I HAVE
TRIED EVERY PROGRAM (Choosing Activate Product on the Help
menus); OUTLOOK, WORD, EXCEL, AND POWERPOINT TO NO AVAIL.
ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS? SHOULD I JUST REINSTALL THE
SOFTWARE?

THANK YOU.

I would call the number regardless of whether or not you can get the wizard
running. They should have some troubleshooting steps they can take to get
the wizard to run.

By the way, you can also start the activation wizard by:

1. On the Start menu point to Programs
2. Point to Microsoft Office Tools
3. click Activate Product.
