I installed Office Small Business Ed

No Activation Wizard at end of installation; no Wizard a Help> Activate

Tried reinstall , no dice.

Deleted OPA11.dat as per KB; zip, zero, nada.

Do you have a "retail Version" or "OEM version" of
Microsoft Office Small Business Edition 2003? If you have
the OEM version that shipped with a new computer, it was
only meant to be installed on that particular computer
and no other.

It is OEM. It was shipped with the PC, it was not pre-installed. The
trial version was installed with Works 8 which is theie standard install
configuration.

Any help welcome, thanks.

Been there, done that. As Wizard does not showAT ALL, and neither do ANY
messages error or otherwise, I do not have the UK phone No for activation.

The manufacturers contracted out $1.70 per min help line has simply
pointed me to the same page as yourself. According to that page the only
symptoms that match my case require the deletion of the OPA11.dat file.
This I have done with no result. The symptoms do not include ANY error
messages, just the complete inactivity of the wizard.
